Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Travel is included for sessions within 75 miles of my business location. If your session is farther out, there may be a small travel fee to cover time and expenses. We’ll go over all of that before booking so there are no surprises.
What should we wear for our session?
Every session includes a style guide to help you pick colors, textures, and outfits that photograph well together. I’ll also help you choose based on the vibe you want — whether it’s timeless, casual, or dressed-up. Comfort always comes first.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Galleries are delivered within the timeline listed in your package. Most sessions are ready in 2–3 weeks, while weddings and events may take longer. I’ll give you an estimated delivery date after your session so you know what to expect.
We scheduled an outdoor shoot and the weather looks bad, what now?
Light overcast is actually perfect for photos, but if the weather would hurt the quality of your session or make it unsafe, we’ll reschedule at no cost. If the shoot must happen that day we'll be with you every step of the way to find an accommodation to capture your moments.
What if I dont love my photos?
Your experience and final gallery truly matter to me. If something technical goes wrong on my end—like a camera malfunction or missed focus—we’ll always make it right. While things like appearance or participation aren't eligible for a reshoot, we’ll work with you to see if re-edits or a mini follow-up session could help. My goal is always to deliver images you feel proud to share.
Contracts feels a little intimidating. Do I really need to sign it?
Absolutely, and I get it — contracts can feel formal. Most professional photographers use them because they protect everyone involved and make sure expectations are crystal clear. This one lays out payment, reschedules, image rights, delivery timelines, and other fine details so nothing gets lost in translation. If you have questions about any part of it, I’ll happily walk you through it before you sign.
I'm interested in booking a session, what's the first step?
Send me a quick message with the type of session you’re dreaming about and any dates you have in mind. From there, I’ll walk you through packages, answer any questions, and help you choose what fits best. When you’re ready, I’ll send over a contract and invoice to lock in your date.
Can i choose my own non-profit?
Absolutely. You’re always welcome to share a non-profit that’s meaningful to you. Jolie & Rae Photography loves supporting causes that matter to our clients, and we thoughtfully consider organizations that align with our values and the communities we serve.
