You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose. We’ll help with the location, outfits, and direction throughout the session so you know what to do without every photograph feeling overly staged.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
Most couples book their wedding photography 6 to 18 months in advance. Popular dates can fill earlier, so once your wedding date is secured, it is a good time to reach out.
Courthouse ceremonies, elopements, and shorter-notice weddings are always worth asking about. If your date is available, we can still make it happen.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes. Jolie & Rae Photography is based in Lincoln, California and travels throughout Northern California and beyond.
Travel within 75 miles of Lincoln is included with The Keepsake, Intimate, Vow, and Timeless collections. The Heirloom includes travel within 200 miles, and destination weddings are welcome.
For celebrations beyond the included range, send us your location and we’ll provide a custom travel quote.
HOW MANY WEDDING PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
Each collection includes a guaranteed minimum number of hand-edited images, listed directly in the package details above.
We do not stop editing once that minimum is reached. You’ll receive the professionally edited images from your wedding that meet Jolie & Rae Photography’s quality standards, so meaningful photographs are not withheld simply because a package minimum has already been met.
DO YOU USE AI TO EDIT OR GENERATE OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?
Every delivered image is personally selected and edited by a human photographer.
Professional editing tools may occasionally be used for things like removing a minor distraction, but we do not use AI to generate wedding photographs, recreate moments that did not happen, alter the events of your day, or automatically edit an entire gallery.
WHAT IS THE SIGNATURE PORTRAIT LOUNGE?
The Signature Portrait Lounge is a dedicated portrait setup for your guests during the reception, with professional studio lighting, a Portrait Lounge attendant, and your choice of a classic black, white, or custom backdrop.
Guests can step in for polished portraits of individuals, couples, families, and groups throughout the celebration.
The Portrait Lounge is included with The Heirloom and can be added to other applicable wedding collections starting at $500.
